BAT PICS....From Actual Jobs...

The following photos (except for the last two) were taken on actual jobs I was working on. These bat pics are of either the Small Brown Bat or the Big Brown Bat. They are hard to tell apart unless you can examine them side by side, up close. Enjoy...

"Everybody must have gone to the bat-room!"

"Sam, Ernie, Phil, Bob, Al, Chuck - You're all back!"

"Hey Wally, I think I like hanging around on the wood better than brick, how 'bout you?

"Well, what is it Wally, wood or brick?"

Here are a few photos of a job at a church...

Yes, there is such a thing as 'Bats in the Belfry'. If you look close, at the very point of the belfry, you can see hundreds of bats huddled together.

When there are that many bats above the church bell, this is the result. The guano on the floor and around the bell was about 3 inches deep.

Bat Guano Up Close...

The next 2 photos are courtesy of Melvyn Golden

The photo above is a close up of bat guano on a deck. The bats were not getting into the home. They were just sleeping under the deck roof. Bats continually urinate and defecate no matter where they sleep.

This photo will put the size of bat guano into perspective. Also notice the indented rings on this typical piece of guano. Mouse and rat droppings will not have these rings.
