Bat droppings or guano,
as some folks call it, is fairly easy to tell apart from
mouse droppings. Removing and excluding bats (the small brown bat and the big brown bat being the most common) from your home or a
structure, is not as hard as one would think when you follow the
guide I have written for you. You being the average everyday person, that has a
thousand other things to do today.
Sure, you can surf the 'Net' and get some vague (somewhat useful)
information on removing bats, but I cover it all, from beginning
to end. You could be bat free, and have peace of mind in as
little as one week, or less! Don't get me wrong. Information from
the 'Net' is usually good, but it falls short by not giving you enough info to
see the big picture, and all the facts you need to do a complete bat proofing of
your home that should last forever.
A PESTICIDE FREE PROCEDURE
My name is Ralph. I am a former Urban Wildlife Manager in the State of
Pennsylvania. I was a certified pesticide applicator, and
was registered with the PA Department of Agriculture. I also held all licenses
required by the PA Game Commission. I operated my
business successfully for over 5 years, till an ankle injury left me unable to
work from ladders.
Enough about me. Bats! Bats are truly unique amimals. They are the
only mammals on the earth that can fly. 'Flying' squirrels
do not really fly, they merely glide. Most species of bats are nocturnal
(active at night). Bats are far from blind, as they can see
as well as the average person. They locate the insects while on the wing with
echolocation. This is similar to sonar that is used on
submarines to 'see' their way around underwater.
I have written this guide to help those of you that have bats and don't
want to spend a ton of money getting rid of them. Even if
you hire someone to do the work for you, follow this guide to make sure it's
done properly. The use of poisons (dusting powders, etc.) IS NOT NEEDED!

PLEASE NOTE the following instructions
if you plan to email me.
After
you click the email address below, and the send form appears, look in the To:
field. My email address will be in there. In my address you will see this: *at*,
instead of this: @. Replace the*at* with @ before you send the email. It will
(should) get to me if you do
this. The reason I put *at* in my address is spammers. Their "web-bots" look
for the @ symbol on web pages and harvest them. The "web-bot" owners then sell
all the harvested emails to spammers, and it never ends, unless you take the @
symbol out of an email address.
Remember - first remove the *at* from my
address and replace with it with @ in the "to:" field of your e-mail
before sending.
